About me
My name is Andreas Mühlbauer, trained IT specialist for system integration and professionally active in the IT industry since 1999. I am an allrounder, feel at home in Linux/UNIX, network, storage, basically the core elements in a datacenter of an enterprise. I am not the expert in all topics but broadly positioned and experienced enough to be able to look beyond the confines of one subject area in order to solve problems or to see integration points. Since 10 years I am also enthusiastic into smarthome programming (Loxone).
My journey started back in the days at Sun Microsystems with three years professional training and then working for four years in support for storage and backup products. After that I got self-employed.
Saw a lot, got around a lot, from small business to international large corporation, across many sectors, domestic and foreign countries, from the server in the coffee kitchen to redundant datacenters at the site.
